My name is Tanya DeLong. My family and I moved here 16 years ago. I have a loving, supportive husband, son and daughter-in-law who always encourage me in everything I do.

I have been sewing for 46 years, yes, 46! I started when I was 5 years old. My mother and both of my grandmothers are responsible for my love of sewing and fabric.

I made my very first purse when I was in high school in the 70's. It was a denim messenger-type bag with peace patches and "flower power" patches sewn on it!! A few years ago, I entered an "art" purse I created in an art contest at my former company and was asked if I could make one for a friend. I did, and the rest is as they say, history.

I began making a few purses to sell in a boutique and really enjoyed working with different designs, handles and fabrics. I wished for this new "thing" I was doing to grow into something more.

Well, God has a way of answering prayers. Three years ago, October 17th, He gave me a dream. A dream of a way to make purses ladies would want to own. The way He showed me was for each purse to represent that particular person. Their personality, their sense of style, their colors and their idea of a perfect purse.

It started with craft shows. 3 to be exact and grew into home parties. From there, into a small shop and now, a large shop with a work space, a classroom space and a space for parties! There is no limit to what God can do if we just follow His lead.

I'm happy to report we've sold over 1300 purses!! I continue to be amazed at the opportunity I have been given to both love my job and share God's divine leadership every day.

Recently, we added a new mini-shop. It's called "The Next Dance". It is a consignment shop for bridal, cruise, formal and semi-formal apparel.
